I was looking at 60-90 days in jail and my hearing was in 4 days. However, Mr. Lackatos was able to work with me on such short notice and managed to get the charge withdrawn, sparring me 2 months in jail. He was also very affordable and extremely kind compared to other attorneys in the area.

I echo the one review below. I have a horrendous custody agreement I am still paying the price for. Very unresponsive, was not proactive, and ended up costing me a ton in spousal support by not challenging the fact my ex was cohabitating with her new husband while receiving spousal support. A good attorney would have stood up for me instead of encouraging me to sign something that I have been told by multiple attorneys since then would have been easy to fight.

He was there for me when I needed him. However, I have been trying to get the remainder of my retainer returned. Countless phone calls/voicemail, letter sent, and used his website "ask attorney" No response! It has been several months. Next step is the legal board?

I have to be honest, Attorney John is really good at what he does...My conversation with him was very informative took up my case and has been very honest with the whole process. I highly recommend.
