We are in the process of buying a house. After the contract and amendment were signed, the seller fired her agent and hired an attorney to take over. The attorney made a horrible mistake, suggested the seller to do a foolish thing, and put both of them in a very awkward position. Instead of admitting his mistake, the attorney maliciously tried to force us to abandon the signed amendment. If we didn't follow his term, he would not close the house. In this kind of situation, if we sued the seller, our winning would be guaranteed, every lawyer would be happy to take this case, and push us to the court. Mr. Walker reviewed our cases. When I suggested to talk to the seller in person, he encouraged me to do so. I met with the seller. We understood each other better. Because I had more trust toward the seller, I accepted her request. The law sue issue is therefore avoided. Both the seller and I are happy about that. In this situation, without counseling an attorney, I dare not to contact the seller. If I had consulted a bad attorney, we would have to face endless troubles in the court, no matter which side won. An attorney like Mr. Walker, his good advice removed our fear, and helped us greatly in solving the problem. When our problem is resolved, Mr. Walker himself earns nothing from our case, though he has spent time reviewing our files. When we offered him monetary gift out of thankfulness, he refused, saying "your thank is enough". That is why I feel I am obliged to write this review.
