Joseph C Mccormick

From my brief visit with Dr. Mccormick, I felt he was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. However, I was very disappointed with his staff. Dr. Mccormick recommended surgery and instructed me to contact his nurse directly to coordinate logistics for the surgery. I never got his nurse to return a single call. With less than 24 hours until my procedure, I still hadn't even received any pre-op instructions from anyone in his office I eventually called the front desk to see if they could put me in touch with his nurse directly and they simply put me on hold a few times while they went back and asked the nurse my questions, one-by-one. Apparently the nurse couldn't be bothered with speaking directly with a patient (even though it would've saved everyone time, including herself). I felt a little blind going into it and ultimately cancelled the procedure. I understand his staff is likely very busy but I was surprised they couldn't carve out ten minutes to walk me through pre-op procedures and answer some general questions leading up to the procedure. Dr McCormick did both of my knees and he did an awesome job.
