I dealt with Mr. Rivera years ago, when my addiction wasn’t even at its worst yet. He was appointed to me the first time, then I kept getting in trouble, for almost 2 years after that, and he kept trying to help me. I tried to text him about a year ago to let him know I FINALLY got my stuff together. I haven’t picked up a drug in almost 2 years and have a beautiful son. I’m not sure if he remembers me and he probably doesn’t know how much of an impact he had on my life, but most court appointed lawyers don’t care about you or your case, but Juan did. He came to see me in jail at least every other week, found mistakes from probation, and actually fought for me. I was such a mess back then and this epidemic has taken so many, so Juan if you remember this and are reading this, I am doing amazing today, have a beautiful home, a car, a son, and so much more I could have ever imagined. Thank you for being one of the very few who fought for me ????
