I would not recommend Roxanne Shaughnessy. She prolonged my relatively simple divorce case at a cost to me and profit for her. I was no farther along at the end than when I first retained her. The day before mediation, I was informed by Ms. Shaughnessy that she would not represent me at mediation if her $3500 retainer was not paid. I informed Ms. Shaughnessy that I did not have the funds to pay her. She then advised me, against her original advisement to not use the joint credit card, to charge her services to my joint credit card. In my opinion, this lawyer is looking to do nothing more than drain your account and fatten her own.
