If there was an option for ZERO Stars she definitely deserves that rating. It’s so unfortunate because she practices Family Law and she is considered a referral for Met Life Legal Plans. In the early stages of the phone call I find out that I’m not covered for Custody through MetLife Legal Plan. Knowing this, I still inquired to attain her. A few moments into the phone call while I was speaking to her she hung up on me, I thought it was an accident at first. So I called back and she answered say “yes”, yet I was a bit disturbed by the way she answered the phone like that, I still continued. During this second time ringing her my daughter ends up waking up from her nap as I was trying to talk to her, I excused myself briefly to redirect my daughter to something else while I wrap up the phone call. I hear the phone hang up once more, I redialed, she answered the same as the first time we got “disconnected” and in a bit of a frustrated tone I ask her if she had hung up on me again and she replied “yes, I heard you talking to your daughter and super I’m busy”. At this moment I am extremely frustrated and equally disappointed because I let her know prior to me talking exclusively to my daughter that I’m going to be just a moment. She kept talking over me and told me to give HER a moment to speak, even though she was rudely interrupting me. She rudely continued to try to belittle and then stated that since I’m not covered through MetLife Legal that she’ll charge me $3000 retainer along with $260 an hr, as if I couldn’t afford it. I tried to end the phone call and let her know that I will be reporting her to MetLife for her rude interactions. She then started to get defensive and stated she wasn't in the wrong and continued to hold an unfitting attitude, I let her know that I was deeply disappointed in how she continued to represent herself not only for the moment but for future client families. That fact that she choose to be rude and hang up and couldn’t give me a moment to redirect my 2 year old daughter from her nap so I can wrap up the conversation to tend to her. I was truly disappointed and hope this review and my complaint to MetLife wakes her up for potential clients. I wished her a great day but she will be getting the repercussions for her actions. I hope whoever is inquiring these services through her firm doesn’t have to deal with what she briefly put me through. Her actions showed that she didn’t care about others and that it’s strictly money not the outcome and if she was nicer I would’ve looked forward to attaining her. I really do hope she doesn’t or hasn’t treated anyone else like this.

This is an honest review for Kalra Law Firm in Torrance (I did one on Yelp as well). After looking through different attorneys to represent my case it was a difficult choice since most places seems promising. However, the main thing I was concerned about was 1) Unexpected charges 2) Attorneys not following up with their part of the agreement 3) Trust... Well I must say Ajay and Madhu did an excellent job covering those areas. Their price is lower than most places and albeit I was a bit skeptical at first because of this, I knew from their 'willingness to help attitude' was the deal breaker. Some other places may charge more but since they have more customers and in a high profile area, they don't seem as helpful as I would expect someone that's representing me should. One of the perks of coming here is that they close later than the avg and is willing to accommodate your schedule! Excellent price, accommodates your schedule, fulfill their promises = great experience on my account. 4 stars is definitely a recommendation from me and I would give them 5 if everything was free.. now that's saying a lot!

Very smart woman and very experienced. Easy to speak with and gets right to the point. She is also priced reasonably.
