Karyn Villar is an outstanding matrimonial attorney. She was instrumental in getting me a fair and just outcome for me and my children; not an easy task in a system where men tend to get the raw end of the deal. Karyn is outstanding both in court and in negotiations. Her knowledge of the law and her intelligence sets her above her opponents. Karyn's billing was fair and she is cognizant to spend your money wisely to get the most out of your legal fees. Most of all Karyn has a heart. She places the needs of the children first and foremost and will fight for what is best for them. Karyn is highly respected by judges and opposing counsel and i would highly recommend her to anyone seeking legal counsel on family matters.

The best experience ive ever had with an attorney. Karyn did a phenomenal job with my support modification. As professional and honest as you can be. Extremely intelligent and diligent. Couldn't ask for anyone better. Karyn and her assistant Jackie are easy to work with supportive. You wont be disappointed.

I have been through a few different attorney's to assist me with case that kept going nowhere. Karyn was highly recommended to me from a friend so I decided to make an appointment with her. I figured she was going to be the same old money sucking family court attorney so I wasn't expecting anything much for her to say. I am happy to report I was 100% wrong! Karyn is very fairly priced, always looked out for my daughters needs as well as my family. I had to unfortunately go to trial see my daughter often. I will tell you my feelings on family court as a male are not good ones. I feel we get over looked and the judgments tend to side towards the mother. However with that being said Karyn did her job 110%! I have my daughter a true 50% of the time and sometimes the way the calendar falls more than 50% of the time. I was never able to have school breaks, weekends longer than just Sat & Sun. I now have my daughter Friday 430pm until Monday morning school drop off. Which was huge for my family since we can now do weekend trips and not one day excursions. The stress of getting my daughter home on a certain time on Sunday is gone! In just one years time the memories that were made with my daughter was worth every single penny paid to this amazing attorney. After the trial was over and received my new visitation orders my ex filed an appeal with NYS Supreme Court. Again Karyn did her job and I won the appeal and nothing was touched of my new visitation orders. I have sent Karyn a few other clients as well because that's how much I believe in this woman. Please do not listen to anyone who says anything negative about this woman. She is a saint and without her my daughter and I wouldn't have the relationship we have today, as well as the relationship she has with her Step-Mother and her 2 brothers. I owe it all to Karyn. Karyn if you read this... THANK YOU!

She charges you $400/hr and doesn't spend the hours with you at court. She tells you to go ahead with cases you have no chance in winning. She showed up unprepared to a trial I waited 2 years for. She did not prepare me for the trial. She does not send you any hard copies of bills unless you ask. She uses an app. Don't ask me what she would do if her app crashes. But she's been a nightmare, I only wish I could post my transcripts on here for everyone to see how bad she is. The judge actually said " Karyn what are you doing? You know this."

This woman is the worst of the worst. Biased. Totally unfair and favors certain people over others. Avoid at all costs and if she gets assigned to you for anything ask to have her removed from your case immediately.
