I met Kathleen in February 2020. This was my first time working with a family lawyer. Our first consultation in her office went great! I was able to share the family matter I was dealing with. I decided to work with Kathleen because from the very beginning she advised me in the best way possible. Besides her experience in this field, she demonstrated empathy and motivated me to ground myself so that this process could go smoothly. She answered every question I had. Since we began working in the peek of Chicago's quarantine time period, the court matter was prolonged a couple of months. The Daley Center was closed, and court dates were being changed. However, Kathleen continued to communicate with me and the respondent's attorney. Our communication was through e-mails and phone calls. We were working together during a pandemic but I had no complaints. I was always informed with anything that involved the case. This made the process smooth, considering the fact we were going through a rough time. At last, we were able to close the case. Kathleen worked very hard and I was beyond satisfied with the outcome of the case. I learned a lot from Kathleen and I appreciate the hard work she put in my case. Kathleen was more than just an attorney for me. She was a counselor and a friend. She always gave me great advice even though I should have listened more. My divorce is final thank God but I still reach out to her for advice. The only complaint I have about Kathleen is when she told me about how my hip replacement was going to be.
