I called to talk with the lawyers on my case against me. I got Michael S. Berkowitz. When I was explaining my story he cut me off and called me "Homie". I felt very disrespected and discriminated against. I had to stop him and correct him that even though I have a debt you will treat me with respect. Because I am Afro-Muslim and am a man about peace. This is a unacceptable way to collect a debt. I hope they don't treat other minorities like this. The call is recorded so it can't be denied. I treat everyone with respect. I still feel some type of way about this. I wasn't cussing or raising my voice. I literally just got out the hospital from a heart attack.

This may be a debt collection company however they are people trying to do their job as well. Amber at extension 174 has been very helpful in answering questions and helping me to reach the goal i was intending to preform. She helped me through the whole process and went out of her way to help me with something im sure she didn't have to. If you're going to call this place, Definitely use amber.

Weiner associates and Owens community college are stealing from single struggling moms in Ohio! Extremely rude loud and unhelpful staff! If I took out a student loan or federal aid or borrowed money of any kind I would understand this.. but I didn’t! In 2008 i dropped my classes so I could go to beauty school and there argument is I didn’t drop them in time. I have now paid well over what the classes would of even cost! How is it legal to Withdraw a large amount of money during a pandemic without contacting me? Mail was sent to a old address and only left $500 in my account. How is this possible?? How am I to pay my bills and feed my children with $500 left to my name? I’m a single mom that could easily live off the system BUT I DONT! I work very hard to hardly get by. Very upsetting situation and sad that they can get away with this!

Although this is a debt collection agency, I've had not one bad experience dealing with this group. Teresa was my collector and was always kind, and answered all questions or concerns I had.

From the first time I called I wasn't treated with any kind of respect. My case worker has been Deborah. She was very rude from the beginning of our conversation. Good luck completing your sentence because she doesn't pimento listen. Everything I said I was cut off mid sentence with a snarly reply. Ive been waiting a week now for her to "call you back tomorrow after i call the court". Funny how it only took me about 10 minutes to contact the court for the information i needed. Stay away from this place if at all possible. We're about to find out but I'm 99% sure they are going to garnish more of my pay then they're supposed to. The system is already a month or month and a half behind and claims I owe $1850 when it really should be down to $413. We will know more in a couple weeks. I'll write another review if they take more then is warranted.
