I am responding to the above person (Claudia, who reviews without disclosing a full name) gave Kelly Nigohosian a 1 Star and lied about the experience. I am Kelly Nigohosian and I am writing this review under my wife's account because there is no way for me to respond directly. Firstly, nobody in their right mind would ever hire an attorney who charges $500 for a less then 3 minute meeting. Claudia wrote "We met Kelly once for less then three minutes and he charged $500 for that meeting" This is an absolute fabricated lie. Why would a person continue with an attorney who charged them an hourly rate of over $10,000. It did not happen. I have never ever charged even an hourly rate of near $500 let alone a rate of $500 for less then three minutes. The fact that fees were approved by the court means that the Trustee accepted it, no creditor nor the debtor objected. In fact, a $3000 fee for a Chapter 13 was near the lower end of fees charged by local attorneys. A call to the Chapter 13 Trustee can confirm this. The court and the US Trustee and Chapter 13 Trustee review fee requests and when the court orders it and it is not objected to then the fees are deemed fair and reasonable and the work necessary. A person has a first amendment right to speak and say what they feel, but there is not such right to "LIE". Claudia could be sued for the comments that clearly are lies. I have represented nearly 5000 people in the Bankruptcy court. Most of my cases were filed 10 to 22 years ago as I have not been practicing Chapter 13 law for some time. BUt after 22 years and several thousand clients, I have never been sued for malpractice, I have never been sanctioned, reprimanded, disciplined, suspended or disbarred. My reputation is important to me, and it is sad I have to respond to a liar.

We did our bankruptcy here. We met Kelly once for less then three minutes and he charged us $500 for that meeting. When I came home and looked at our paperwork II notice three mistskes. One was $5,000 when it should of been $500. We did Chapter 13 so that made us pay more. We were charged an additionsa $3,000 because we asked excessive amount of questions. The court allowed it. I didn't know i only had x many questions to ask for such a huge decision we had to make to do a bankruptcy. We went through three different lawyers since they quit on Kelly. He doesn't treat his lawyers well and belittled them in front of us. The biggest mistake that was made was we could of had our second mortgate removed through the bankruptcy. We didn't know this until later. I called him when i found out we were eligible for this and he said he would have to charged us all over again to fix it. He is not out to help his clients but for the money. I wish i could of read some reviews betore going to him. I wish you luck.
