Mr. Kelton represented the seller in a co-op apartment sale, and I was the buyer. The purchase was cancelled because I was rejected by the co-op board due to the fact that my cats were not "service animals." This was obviously not my fault, and so I was entitled to a full refund of my security deposit, but Kelton attempted to falsely accuse me of an act of bad faith and attempted to extort me for $31,500. Evidently the seller had bills to pay, but the seller was not entitled to my money, and I refused to give it. I eventually got my entire deposit back. However, I almost had to sue his client for full payment plus attorneys' fees. Kelton did not do right by his own client in the situation, because while he was attempting to drum up excessive fees by creating legal caseflow, he was actually creating a situation that put his client in legal jeopardy.

Charles was extremely delayed in communication, something that could have been done in 2 days took 2 weeks and then at the end was extremely rude to me in person and over the phone. He hung up on me while I asked for more details on the case. Very unprofessional and obnoxious, please avoid. Flabbergasting experience
