While yes Michael is a competent attorney in court and at hearings, he is seriously lacking on his written communication skills and this must be addressed as it cost me a lot of money. I had to completely change my business name and everything because of his mistakes. First off, he has LOTS of spelling and other errors on any document he writes, gets names wrong or mixed up (even confused the judge) and will send emails to people that should not have seen anything regarding the litigation at hand. Because I was out sick with the flu for several days, Michael got so impatient that he emailed 2 of my office staff about my litigation in progress, even attached PDF documents for them to open. One of these ex-employees are now working for a different company with an unfair insight as to how I do my business and make money. Of course, she told her new employer a few things to get a promotion and now I lost $7,000 a month of business because of this. I understand people make mistakes and I am not as mad as I would usually be because Michael did technically win my case and I got awarded money, but still this was unacceptable and he needs to seriously pay attention before sending stuff out to people - and be WAY more patient when someone doesn't return a phone call quick enough for him.

I have worked with Richard Morton for a number of years and have found him to be very professional and fair. He knows his business and is a great attorney.
