I accompanied my mother and sister for a legal consultation with James Kingsley regarding a custody case. Mr. Kingsley never once addressed me, spoke to me, or asked why I was there. His office is filled with “pro-dad” and “father” signs, posters, and knickknacks, which gave the impression that he is chauvinistic and dismissive of women’s rights as mothers. This was confirmed after meeting with him for over an hour. He was very brash and rude, and belittling towards my mother and sister. He liked to preach how he, “told it like it was,” even though he spent most of the time making assumptions, putting words in our mouths, and making false accusations of clinical diagnoses. While he might be a great lawyer for men in custody cases, women should stay away from him. He had no desire to fight for my sister, essentially suggesting that she should give up, no matter what context. He insisted that Pickaway County’s traditional ways should be followed without question, whether they’re right or wrong. Given his lack of desire to fight for clients, I’d suggest he retire. If you're looking for a lawyer to fight for you, look elsewhere.

Mr. Kingsley has represented me three times during my life and has achieved better than expected results each and every time. In 2005, I was just s kid, 19 years old, and I suddenly found myself locked in the pickaway county jail with an F2 burglary case. The public defender wanted me to accept an offer of 2 years in prison. Luckily, my father had mercy on me and shelled out the 5 stacks for Kingsley. It got dropped to an F5 and I was released on on probation after serving about 8.5 months in the county. In around 2010, a snitch tried to set me up and buy some h off of me. Luckily, I realized what was happening just in time, shoved the dope, still got pulled over w no license and the cop ripped my car to shreds. It was only misdemeanors, but this time, I shelled out the money myself, and all was dropped. I wanted to go after the cop, but good Mr. Kingsley corrected that thinking error for me. Finally, in 2017, I was pulled over and the cops watched 97+ grams of h fall out of my pants leg. Then, once I was in jail getting patted down, they heard and then saw 309 oxycodone 30s fall out of my other leg hole. Charged with F1 heroin trafficking, F1 heroin possession, F2 pill trafficking, F2 pill possession, and F3 conveyance. Bonded out and ran straight for my tried and true lawyer. Caught red handed obviously, but still pled out to just F1 trafficking, and served 4 non-mando years, which turned out to be 3 years and 7 months. I will never in life use anyone but James Kingsley.

Not sure the beef with Eric but I have known Jim for 35 years as the most competent lawyer practicing in Pickaway County. He can be a little obnoxious but you want that characteristic on your side. He was hosed on the Lambert case, a case which by the way should have never been prosecuted. Only in Pickaway County would this have occurred.

Total jerk! Thinks he’s a hotshot but he’s more like a fast talking, ineffectual, should be used car salesman! Tara Lambert, the want to be murderer, sued for gross incompetence. He was incompetent when falling for the blonde harpie. I bet he fell For her hook line and sinker. I wouldn’t hire him to notarize my signature!
