I called Kinlaw & Cunningham, LLC and spoke with a paralegal name Nadia who referred me to another law firm nearby to find out some more information about a case that I thought I might have had only to be told by a man name Dan who clearly did not have a master plan nor even bothered to try to introduce himself when I had called. I called bout 20 mins before they closed only for him to pretty much tell me that I waited "too long" to try to contest and that to him he felt like it wasn't going to be worth the money to fight a case not knowing if I can win it or not. Then to make it even more disappointing he kept pointing out how long we were on the phone for and asked me how many attorneys have I called about my situation. Honestly I felt like he was very insensitive about my situation and to be a representative of this particular law firm I felt like he was being unprofessional about it. Nadia I could feel her true genuineness of the line of work she did. She's caring, she's understanding and she kept her word when she said she would call me back and let me know if she can help me out if they couldn't. She is by far the definition of a true strong empowering lady. I definitely gained a true sister for life.

Alex Kinlaw represented me in my child custody case that had been ongoing for over two years. In the beginning I was representing myself and last minute I decided to hire him as my lawyer. He quickly got on the case, went over all my evidence for several hours in his office. He then worked with me the entire weekend to prepare for a final trial that was supposed to be that Monday. That trial was postponed, so we ended up with more time to get things done. He was able to serve the father of my daughter papers when no one else from the court house had been able to for years. We had our final trial this morning and Alex was able to get many pieces of evidence in, while the plaintiff was on the stand. He was able to catch him in several lies that when we took our lunch break after that, the plaintiff (the father) decided to settle and give me sole custody of our daughter. I can’t thank Alex enough for being able to get my point across in the court room, without me even having to take the stand yet. Alex is diligent, knowledgeable, gets to the point, and knows what to focus on to drive your point home. There was never a time I couldn’t get a hold of him. He always called me back the same day and answered any questions I had. He listens to details and for me that was important, and I had a lot of them! It was a lot to deal with but he took the bull by the horns and helped me win my case. I recommend Alex for your legal matters, and I’ll be using him again in the future if I ever need to get the father served again, or anything else like that. I am one happy Momma! We can finally rest and move on with our lives, thank to Alex.
