Jay and his staff have always been very helpful and polite. Every time I talk to Jay, I learn something new. I know if I have a question, I can always pick up the phone and get an answer from this firm.
My husband and I have been clients of KnightonStone firm for several years now and each experience is met with the highest professionalism and timely response. nThe firms rate structure is competitive and fair. nThe staff is exceptional and continuously improving their standard of care to meet thier clients requirements. nI highly recommend this firm. You will not be disappointed.
I have been using Knighton and Stone for over 10 years and i couldn't be happier with the work they provide. They have assisted me with all facets of business including incorporation, taxes, employment laws, shareholder agreements, stock distribution and contracts. I use them for my personal use as well and they were particularly helpful when I had a bad experience with a building contractor. n nNot only are they professional, affordable and thorough but they also have personality, which makes them great to do business with.
We had a will and estate plan drawn up for our family. We referred by our Investment Advisor and I was extremely pleased with the time and care they placed into our situation. Nick took time to learn about us, and we never felt nickel and dimed to death like most lawyers. The ladies upfront are very helpful, and we encourage everyone to visit with Knighton & Stone. Also, their prices were better than several estate attorneys in Houston
All, please be aware of this practice and the way they treat their clients is very distasteful. We have 4 children and were going on a trip and needed a will drawn up in the unlikely event of our deaths. We were referred to Knighton & Stone by our financial advisor. We ended up completing the will with Knighton and Stone. Choosing a caretaker for your children is a very emotional and difficult decision. The original caretaker has yet to get married, so we decided it would be best to change the will and have our children go to our friends instead. We asked this question during the initial stages of drawing up the will and the response from Knighton & Stone was that it happens quite often and is a very easy fix in the event a codicil is required. When I heard that, I never thought that making a name change would cost me so much money. My wife researched what other firms charged for a codicil and found that it would cost $50-$100. Mind you, we already dumped close to $900 for this will and when we called to make one change, we quickly found out it would cost us $300! WOW! In addition, they charge for every email correspondence and turn into debt collectors when you contest it. There are tons of attorneys to choose from in The Woodlands area, don't get caught up in the snoot. My advice is to try someone else and your experience will be much better.
