I spoke with a lawyer, she was a woman in her 70's. I walked in as a victim of identity theft to receive a consultation because this has never happened to me so I needed legal advice. I gave her every information I knew about the person who has stolen my identity and asked her what I need to do. I was precise about the information I gave her, very detailed. I basically left with no advice and I still had to pay. I did let her know that I didn't receive useful information but demanded I pay but I only had a bill and she had no change, so I(the client) had to go down the street to a mcdonald to get change for her. Very unprofessional.
