Ok so long story here but a factual on that I can back with years of paperwork... So my Grandpa was hit in a crosswalk on his scooter by a guy who blew a red light they settled a lawsuit for the maximum of $50000 that the guy's insurance would allow The insurance claim was not contested by the guy's insurance company they agreed to pay out the maximum without going to court that was all taking care of probably within the first 6 months or so so then it came time for the estate to pay out his last bills okay so after his funeral costs have been invented to a $1000 that was given for his funeral So that leaves about 40000 okay so the lawyer's fees because They're trying to double charge for the case that they agreed to take on as 2 different cases they're trying to take $24000 of a $50000 settlement after about 10 grand worth of debt settlement That's like somewhere between 43 and 45% I do believe I'm sure my maths not perfect So then there's the air's left which is my 2 Aunts And my sister and I to split my mother's third since she is past Okay they get more than me my sister do because they are taking a full third and mean my sister split my mom start which I'm totally fine with that was the initial agreement made But Now after dragging their feet in every single way over the last almost 8 years now it's getting close to the clothes So I have a few questions that I would like for the firm to answer before I will consider signing the final agreement Have yet to be able to get a call back I have left a message about 2 or 3 times a week for the last 3 weeks or so And nothing but silence This only after me Verbalizing my disagreement about how they are conducting themselves And the amount they are trying to take Have they started Producing stuff to the court but after blaming medicare for For the 4 and a 1/2 almost 5 year hold up I started complaining and with about 6 more months they had finally contacted a senator to move medicare along Which could have done after the first year or so And now that I'm making noise about it he's trying to get it closed out as fast as possible without me and my sister signing the closing agreement I think he is guilty of thievery And deceitful business practices I'm fixing to contact the Illinois bar association as well as the Williamson County bar I'm planning to be at the final court date later on this month with copies of all the paperwork copies of a bunch of your reviews because it seems that there's a pattern with this kind of business that they run and if you try to post a review with any kind of negative spin they will just deny that you were ever a client but whenever one of their fake accounts or 1 of their friends or family members leaves a review of 5 stars They make sure to thank them and go above and beyond to let them know how much they appreciate it I'm planning to be at the final court date later on this month with copies of all the paperwork copies of a bunch of your reviews because it seems that there's a pattern with this kind of business that they run and if you try to post a review with any kind of negative spin they will just deny that you were ever a client but whenever one of their fake accounts or 1 of their friends or family members leaves a review of 5 stars They make sure to thank them and go above and beyond to let them know how much they appreciate it I will not be quiet about this any longer And I'm not greedy I agree to them taking the standard 33 and a third percent or any other attorney Would have charged But I also want to take about 3000 to that 33 and a third percent for the wasted time my family has experienced the turmoil it has caused between us As a family You wanna say it's really not even about the money for me he was a Worthless drunk Who abused my grandmother for years And no I will not rotate this review down like I have done before after you called and requested and then you called my sister told on me and demanded that she have me remove it this one is permanent So have a good day but have the life that you deserve

When I left his office I felt I was used. Almost like I was set up for information. After the $150 conciliation fee was paid I was than told there could be a conflict of interest and could not be represented by the firm. After personal information was given I realized there was and is history with this firm, local residents And some of my family members, Very Shady and suspicious. Your money $$ Is the very obvious goal here and is used like a carrot leading a donkey to keep moving forward.

I especially appreciated how Mark made recommendations for mediation as this saved me time and resources in the end. Returned my call a week later and quoted me an astronomical price for 2 simple pieces of paperwork, basically standard format forms and no unusual requests from me. I had the same work professionally prepared by a different attorney for $1000 less. I guess I was being quoted for the name. If you have money to throw away and patience for a return call, they might be fine. Two stars for at least returning my phone call, albeit too late for the urgency of the matter.
