NO WAY I would EVER hire this in my opinion Rude , Idiot. In over 20 years of great corp and other legal areas I have spent many hundreds of thousands on attorneys and I would NEVER Hire this one. Ask a simple question/statement I have never seen such a response. I am keeping a copy of what I said and his response.

I echo the below user's sentiment. I also asked on Avvo regarding a malpractice-related issue of another lawyer. Mr. Finnecy was extremely unprofessional and appeared to be very sensitive (he was so sensitive that he asked to have my post deleted) and extremely insecure (you can just tell by how he responds to people's reviews or to people's criticisms. It screams massive insecurities). I explained the issues that I was having and Mr. Finnecy proceeded to post that he did not believe what I had posted (as if I have time to post some BS on some online board). He is entitled to his own opinion obviously, but he could have simply ignored the post. There is no place for that on a legal help board. He also seems to have a lot of time on his hands, as evidenced by the multiple e-arguments that he enjoys engaging in, and the colossal amount of useless answers he's provided. If a lawyer has this much time to spend on an internet board arguing with random people looking for help, it brings into question whether he's a popular lawyer. I'm sure popular lawyers focus on their clients rather than perusing an online board looking for people to argue with.

WHAT A JOKE. THIS CAN NOT BE A REAL ATTORNEY. NO ATTORNEY ACTS THE WAY HE DOES. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND LIKE A CHILD. SO COCKY TOO. NEVER HIRE THIS WANNA BE ATTORNEY. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF HE IS A FRAUD.

My daughter had a dui. No other car was collided with. No person was injured. She had ONE dui and ran into a sign. For this, under the representation of Jay Finnecy, she got FIVE years PROBATION!!!!! Tiger Woods was so intoxicated he could barely stand and he got 1 yr probation! Atty was rude, arrogant and condescending. Do NOT waste your money! You could absolutely NOT do worse! Represent yourself and you will do a better job than THROWING AWAY YOUR MONEY on this poor excuse for an attorney!

Cannot answer a simple question.This guy seems burnt out, has nothing but negative energy emanating from his persona.
