This is the good ole boys law firm that our crapstatic HOA uses for our townhouse community in Mountain Laurel. They pick and choose who they want to go after for collections of HOA dues. There is one tenant who this law firm and the HOA Community Partners LLC also trading as CPVA has allowed to be more than $30K in arrears for the last 10 years. She has been allowed to continue to live in her home.Yet I or anyone else would be forced out if they are following law. She only pays $50 a month towards her assessments and in the eyes of the other homeowners this is impropriety. I personally think it's a racial issue and we are all sick and tired of it.
Don’t deserve one star Poor customer service. Anne was rude, condescending and down right disrespectful. I have never been spoken to this way. Also, when a customer requests to speak to someone else, it’s not your right to tell them those people are too busy to talk. Do not recommend.
Stay as far away from this office as humanly possible!! For context, I have closed hundreds of real estate transactions over the past 15 years. My recent experience with this office was the worst I have ever encountered. The paralegal, Dwen, and the attorney, Eddie, were extremely rude and unprofessional in their communication with me. They made the entire process brutal, blaming everyone else for their incompetence. It was so bad that even my Citibank banker, who was on the phone with Dwen trying to work through a problem, had to ask Dwen to let her speak. As we got off the call, she remarked, "Wow, these people are rude!" This was an unbiased third party's reaction. If you are an investor or any type of home buyer, I strongly advise you to avoid working with this company. Maybe in my entire life, I have written two reviews, but this experience was so painful that I truly felt compelled to share it to hopefully help another investor. We had an issue with a check that was my fault, and any other attorney's office would have gladly helped resolve the issue, but this office made it a total nightmare even after our closing office had clearly directed that funds would be wired. I had to bring in my attorney after days of pain and not being paid just to get a wire released. When I asked why they wouldn’t send a wire, they stated, “I do not legally have to wire you; it’s my preference.” I am shocked this company is able to stay in business, but judging by how many other bad reviews they have, I was not the only person who experienced this kind of treatment. They have successfully alienated an investor, and I truly hope one day they learn some kind of customer service and, more importantly, just the decency of how to treat other humans.
You can count on Lafayette Ayer’s & Whitlock,PLC to do professional work for their clients.
As a real estate agent, I have used and recommended Lafayette Ayers & Whitlock many times over the years. They always do a great job managing all of the many details of a house closing. Always professional, but friendly. Prices are reasonable, comparing fairly with other local attorneys.
