Reviews
Chance Badertscher, our Real Estate Attorney, was amazing throughout the entire home buying process. We felt extremely supported throughout the entire process and were always confident that Chance was looking out for our best interest. He provided great advice throughout the inspection, attorney review, and closing processes and was with us every step of the way. He is extremely knowledgeable while also providing responses in a very personable light. We look forward to our continued work with him.
I strongly believe they colluded with the other attorney to delay or extend the case of my simple divorce of no children and no alimony to drain my bank and retirement accounts. Shouldn't that be illegal or cause for review? Their unethical practices wanted all my money and they took it, at the worst time of my life. They took advantage of me because they could.
Chance Badertscher, our Real Estate Attorney, was nothing short of exceptional. From the get-go, he was able to answer any questions we had with the attorney laws involving Chicago and Illinois. As we drew closer to our house purchase, Chance was with us at each step of the way- giving us great advice as we were dealing with inspections, attorney reviews, and the final closing. My fiancée and I had peace of mind knowing we were in good hands when dealing with closing, especially with Chance highlighting every document and the brass tacks of owning our home. I would highly recommend Chance as a attorney knowing you will be with one of the best, with excellence and duty at the forefront of any task you have involving purchasing a home.
I have worked with Lavelle Law for the closing of my last two homes. Chance was the attorney that I worked with for both and he was absolutely excellent! He is professional, knowledgeable, very prompt, and I had full confidence that he was on top of everything. It allowed me to have peace of mind during a very busy process! He even caught a few items that saved money on the closing & inspection. Chance has a lifetime client with me, he is awesome! They are also reasonably priced and still go the extra mile. Highly recommend!
Honestly, the main reason I reached out to them went smoothly. Unfortunately that lawyer left the firm, and we never received the paperwork I was supposed too. I have reached out to them requesting to speak with one of the managing attorneys, but no one has called me back. All I'm requesting is MY paperwork but they continue to just give me the run around. Pretty sad for a "reputable firm" Update: A managing partner finally calls me back after I requested 3 time for a call all week. States that we wouldn't get official document, but the email from their lawyer states they would receive it. Furthermore, he wants to defend their communication, and put the blame on the attorney even though it's the firm that I hired. I shared my perspective on how communication could be better, but (Ted) didn't seem to care and actually defended their communication skills, and argued "would you want us to stop working on another client to call you back". It's been three days and you have a huge firm but you cant call an old client back. Once you already pay them, they don't care.
