Law Firm of James French PC

I was referred to James French by a friend after having serious difficulties and poor outcomes with a very high-priced firm here in Denver. Mr. French has been my go to for both family law and business. Mr. French was able to turn a very ugly custody dispute into an amicable resolution that has continued on for several years now. I really didn't think it was even possible before hiring him. He is really good about keeping everyone informed about the next steps needing to be taken, sometimes it even seems like he is coaching the other lawyer along. Bottom line, he is an amazing negotiator and if he gives you advice you'd be wise to take it! Now when my business faced a frivolous lawsuit I again contacted Mr. French. He handled that situation in excellent form again and we received a very favorable outcome. I now rely on Mr. French to review all of my business contracts before even thinking about signing. I would give 6 stars if it were an option.

I had the opportunity of working with Attorney Kevin Murphy for my parental allocation (custody) issues with my son's father. Mind you...I spoke with more then 8 other firms who all insisted that my specific case required a $10,000 retainer and would take at least a year in court because we live in 2 separate states. As a single mother, this was so discouraging. I worked with Kevin, and he was quick, responsive, and didn't waste any of my time or his time with filing, paperwork, advice, court dates, etc. His billing and invoicing was clear and concise and there were never any surprises. Very laid back, but professional. Never came across as a "pushy salesman" lawyer, and helped with everything I asked.
