BEWARE OR ELSE YOU WILL LOSE OUT ON TIME AND MONEY! SCAM!! READ THE REVIEWS and you’ll see most people are saying the same thing about her when it comes to NOT delivering and not wanting to refund you because “she doesn't have the funds”. This is by far the worst experience Ive ever had with an attorney! Not only did Carrie leave me hanging with no response for months in regards to my case but she also accomplished NOTHING in four months! Carrie was paid up front for two different matters and DIDN’T handle either. When I tried to contact her, She let me know that she was in the Bahamas and would get back to me when she got back from vacation. from that day forward I never heard back from her or got any follow up in regards to what was going on with my case. I then personally had to reach out to the court system and other legal counsel to see if anything was filed in regards to the case on my behalf which I was informed it wasn’t. It wasn’t until after requesting a refund (which she hung up the phone mid conversation out of frustration) and telling her that I no longer Wanted her to represent me that she then started to ask questions about my case to try and get something filed. By the time she finally responded to me I already had found new legal council and wanted nothing to do with her and her horrible representation. Now I’m out of nearly $2000 and Fighting to get a refund from somebody that mismanages money, time and has no respect for her “clients”. If at any time there is a response to this I do have screenshots of everything that are time stamped to prove everything I’ve mentioned above. STAY AWAY!

I would leave zero stars if I could. My boyfriend and I hired her to help revise our custody agreement for my step daughter. I also had hired her for myself to help with other legal services. I paid in full for my Services (and my bf paid for his in full as well) she took my money sent me a text and stated she was unable to move forward as she does not do cases in the state of Kansas. She then transferred my funds I paid her to his account AFTER she said we were all paid in full. This was in September. It is now almost January and nothing… my bf asked for a refund as nothing was done she texted him asking for his daughter’s social and he let her know he didn’t need her services any more since we had already been waiting 3 months. She has been dodging his phone calls and so I called left a message and didn’t leave my name or anything she called me back and I was on the phone with her I told her I was with my boyfriend and she hung up on us! Very unprofessional!! DO NOT USE HER SERVICES!!!

Scheduled a consultation and the attorney was late I’m calling me at my scheduled time. I was told they couldn’t help me with my claim but was told I would be sent information on an attorney in Smithville who could help me with my claim. The information was never sent over. I emailed Law in KC to get the information and never got a response.

This is truly a firm the saying "look before you leap" should be at the forefront of your mind. The lack of class, tact, and preparation are a few of the faults I found with them in past experience. Your case will be talked about in open forum, i.e. "webisodes" on the attorneys business Facebook page and other media outlets. Per example, May 13th 2021 "The Face of High Conflict Co-Parent". (I happily give my consent for the full video recording of the depositons, provided that her client at that time does the same. I would also ask that The attorney provides her degree in psychology.... if she has one and can give a diagnosis such as the one in the video. I am consulting to see if a defamation case is to be pursued, or perhaps leave it to the Ethics board in Jefferson City.) In summary: I would highly recommend you look elsewhere if you want competent representation. And to the comment "I would not expect a positive review from the competition", I'm more than happy to show why I believe this strongly. Unless they have things to hide.

This law firm handled my bankruptcy case a few years ago and then just recently handled my divorce. Walked me through the whole process, made sure no stone was left unturned. Would very much recommend!
