Leslie helped me with my child custody case. She was awesome and kept me up to date on all ongoing details.

She took the case two weeks before review hearing, yet goes on vacation the day I pay her (she promises to work during vacation to prepare). I give her two boxes full of documents to read. Apparently she missed the memo to read and prep before going to court. She was annihilated in court, I felt completely abandoned and we didn't even finish the review hearing. After giving her another chance she drops the ball several times with no communication. Then agrees to postpone the hearing for 3 months without my knowledge extending the nightmare I was in, and tries to play it off as a good thing saying she didn't agree, but this may help us prepare better, yet court documents show "both parties agree to postpone". Now I question her integrity and ability. This is a 4 year court case whom multiple lawyers have assumed the position. She was by far the worst communicator of them all, so bad I began considering she is being paid by the opposing party to misrepresent. While I'd never be able to prove it, doesn't stop the fact I believe it may be true. The opposing party has essentially unlimited funds. She was so bad I asked for a refund, for which she denied. Then I said I would review her negatively online and she sends me a bigger bill making it far worse. She has no office and says all her work is word of mouth. If you want to meet, it has to be in a courthouse somewhere in Maryland or on the side of the road. Thank God I got my boxes back after being forced to pay my final bill or not getting them, even though the boxes were destroyed like she dumped them out, scattered all the papers around and put them back in.
