Tim and his staff are the best. I have been with him, on a complicated custody case, for almost 2 years, and he has been amazing. He is amazing in the courtroom too - he knows family law!! He is obviously well respected in the courtroom also. Christina - paralegal...just amazing!! I would not trust my life with any other law firm in the AV. Tim has exceeded my expectations.

I contacted Tim Johnson to assist me with some issues that I was running into with the father of my children. I wasn't able to resolve these matters on my own, so I needed some guidance. I found Tim to be highly educated, organized, easy to talk to, and readily available to answer my endless questions. He was very upfront and realistic with what to expect with my case. He's a father as well, so I trusted him every step of the way.

I hired Robert Johnson for a custody case. He reviewed all my paper work and he was very straightforward and told me up front what he was going to do for me. I hired the Johnson Law Firm because they were recommended to me by a friend and their initial retainer was a $1000 less than another lawyer that I regret to this day not hiring. Hiring the Johnson Law Firm has been one of the worse decisions I have ever made. My initial consultation was with Robert Johnson, the experienced lead partner of the firm. However, unfortunately for me, he turned out to be quite unscrupulous and appeared to only play the role of bait to lure me in with his legal knowledge and powerful presence. He failed to be available for consequent meetings and I received a letter notifying me of his retirement less than a month after my initial meeting with him and their collection of my hefty retainer. My case was filed and handled by his very young and inexperienced nephew, Tim Johnson. I was left having paid top dollar for a newbie that had a chip on his shoulder and wanted a gold star for just showing up to my hearing. Among the multitude of ineptitudes of Tim Johnson was that on the day of my hearing it appeared that he had not so much as read my husband's income and expense declaration, let alone actually prepared for my case. He could not have done a worse job. I am disabled and by the time my hearing came, I had been without any income or spousal support for close to a year. Tim was neither empathetic to my situation or prepared to represent me. He was deceptive in his explanations of issues on a settlement agreement he wanted me to agree to, as well as, in his negotiations with my spouse and his lawyer. He had failed to meet with me prior my hearing for any length of time and was really not interested in knowing the details of my case. He showed up completely unprepared and lacking any knowledgeable of even the basic details of my case. What's worse, his errors set a precedence at future hearings. Thanks to Tim Johnson my husband is continuing to not pay court ordered spousal support even though I have $600 monthly out-of-pocket medical expenses and he makes $250,000 per year. He did not help me in receiving a support amount on all my husband's income and failed to get a almost mandatory stipulation on my support order to garnish my husband's wages. Now my husband has even won all the proceeds from the sale of my marital home due to something Tim misled me on at my first hearing. I don't even have money for groceries. Tim and all high level staff at Johnson Law Firm are not concerned with you, your case, or your future. They are only interested in their pockets and how much they can make off you by expelling the least amount of hours and work- and don't even think about calling them with a question or two.
