For the past four years we had actively worked with our mortgage company to no avail. After exhausting everything, our retirement, our savings and running up credit card debt we decided to contact Real Estate Law Center. I have to say, it was not easy and I was apprehensive as they weren’t local, you could stop by the office to ask questions or put a face to a name but in the end we had lost almost everything, except our house and decided to take a leap of faith. The team (Jonathan, Charlie and Estela) worked endlessly for us. They provided excellent customer service. Provided us with their legal expertise and were upfront with us, which at times was not what we wanted to hear. However, in the end they were very successful with our case. They were able to get the mortgage company to work with us in less than 3 months for something we had tried over and over for more than 4 years. If you feel you have some of the same issues, I highly recommend their services. While they can’t guarantee the outcome you want, they can provide you with the legal advice to help navigate a difficult situation. Thank you, Thank you Real Estate Law Center!!
They took $5000 I paid in order to help represent me in a class action against wellsfargo when I foreclosed on my home around between 2011-13 and had later figured out the many documents were fraudulently signed by wellsfargo. Even though I made it absolutely clear to RELC PC that I was not currently living in the property, they promised me that it would not be an issue. Well, a few years later it turnEd out, they would not be able to help because of that specific reason. They'll lie to take your hard earned money and later throw you By the way-side! Funny how they're no longer in business. That's a silver lining!
I was behind in my mortgage payments and I was just extremely overwhelmed facing foreclosure, until I contacted RELC. I spoke with a lawyer about my USDA loan and he brought in a mortgage underwriting professional to go over it. She discovered unfair clauses that could possibly be considered predatory lending practice. They advised me to pursue individual litigation after discovering the possible loan fraud. I just got back from my last court date where they changed my interest rate and my principal balance! It's been a long 7 months, but I definitely think a retainer was worth the support, prep, and someone to lean on the entire process. In the end I saved money from the settlement. I HIGHLY recommend calling in and getting some help.
Although the experience was long and stressful, The outcome could not have been better. I had tried for 3 years to get my lender to refinance my home loan and for one reason or another, I was always denied. When Hector and RELC got involved, I was skeptical and it seemed to drag on forever. In the end, my payments have been reduced by $1626 and I can not be happier. Thank you Hector for your kind words and patience with me during the process
they made things sound great on the phone, (lawrence talks a good game) We made payments toward the 5000 dollar lawyer fees. we were told everything would work out fine, due to everything in our case. Even got told to was turned over to the court system. They kept wanted us to do a government making homes affordable act packet; we at the time did not. After 5 months pass, we get a email from them that states things are progressing with the courts, if our mortgage company calls us, don't talk to them give them their number. So, this we did. Finally, I get a letter in the mail that they are foreclosing on our home the 1st of the next month. we were stuck we did the packet with real estate law pc but it stalled and went no where. I finally swallowed my pride call my lender and after 3 days had a making home affordable packet done at no charge with no assist from law center pc. they did try to take credit for it of course. they then told me they need me to sign documents releasing them from this case. i said NO, you are suppose to continue law case to get even better interest rate you promised and larger lump sum removed instantly plus the refi is suppose to be 30 years. Then you are suppose to go after them for damages and credit removal of the stuff on our credit report. i was told he had no clue what i was talking about. this isn't something they do. then I get a message that when i called them months ago and said, i think you stopped taking money out of our bank account to soon and we still owed you two grand they all told me nope you are paid in full and good to go. now they say they did all the work to save my house, lie and that we do owe them 2000 more dollars. be aware of this company. they are charging money for something that is FREE!! They make it sound good, but that is all.
