6/19/2022- Great place 2 represent u . Para leagal both James &Austin do a great job. They have after hours so if u need to call, say on the weekend- u have a person/somebody, to answer. Take down u’r info .. Call! Day or nits. They care. They represent. The receptionist does a great job relaying messages What I like here is the ppl care. Professional. Steven Johnson is a great lawyer for criminal representation. We ESPECIALLY love the paralegal, James. Anytime I had questions or needed something done, James was our go to guy. Anything from bond reduction to moving court dates around to satisfy my needs being I live 5 hours away from Waupaca, County. Steven Johnson was able to get my fiancée home fairly quickly and they have convenient payment plans that works for whatever your income is. Even after all the court issues were done with one county, he quickly helped us with another issue out of another country that would have prevented my fiancé from coming home so quickly but him being so kind, was able to take on another case for child support and was all together able to avoid jail time for a very old child support case that my fiancé would have possibly been looking at time in county for. The whole process only took about a month and a half but under other circumstances, he would have been looking at about a year in county. I’m forever grateful for Steven Johnson and his wonderful paralegals, ESPECIALLY JAMES. Thank you guys for all you did for us!!

Very disappointed. Requested to have my documents reviewed for filing a motion in family court to get a court date. Brought in a packet with two simple forms and one attachment word doc. Paid $350 and received the packet back with an “everything looks good”. My forms were not the correct forms for filing a motion for a court hearing, which I found out at the courthouse. Turns out, having these reviewed meant no legal interpretation of appropriateness of document. When I questioned why this was, I was told the forms were filled out correctly, they were Family Court forms, and that is what I paid for. I would have to hire the firm for them to interpret legal intent. Basically, I could have had a 7th grader do this same review. Apparently, it was my fault for expecting some sort of legal take on my legal documents. I was more disappointed in the no fault response than I was with the actual issue itself. Beware of a legal firm that uses legal justification to defend itself in a customer service matters.

Realistic, and fair, results were accomplished by Mr. Steve Johnson, and it's obvious he's not your run-of-the-mill state defender (sidelining as a sub for the judge/d.a.'s golf team!)
