Ethan, Shelly, and Cathy all helped me on my case. They all were very well mannered and very respectful. But for most Shelly was an amazing on helping me and guiding me through everything I needed. She helped me keep my cool even when I wanted to loose it. She is very professional and very helpful in every way possible she could be for me. She answered any questions that I had or needed any advice on. She is amazing person and has a professional attitude and personality. I would recommend the law office and Shelly to help anyone that is the same position I was in. To be all honest I'm now using them for the second time for my kids.
I am a retired family law attorney who has known Cathy Cook, and her team for years as opposing counsel. Cathy’s tough (I won’t pretend we never disagreed), a woman of her word, reasonable (a parent herself) and she probably knows Ohio family law well enough to teach her own master class. She brings decades of experience advising parents and an abundance of common sense with her to court, so things get resolved through negotiation - OR - if you end up trying your case, she has the knowledge and experience to educate you ahead of time about what to expect and the most probable results. Mindless, endless family litigation bleeds everyone’s resources. Cathy’s an efficient and professional advocate in court, and as such necessary litigation stays on track with minimal unnecessary drama. When my health forced me to retire in 2020, I sent my divorce clients and my paralegal, Shelly Anderson to Cathy where I knew they would all find a very professional and supportive group of people to work with. Litigating family matters is a nightmare. Hiring Cathy Cook (and listening to her advice) is an investment in some peace of mind.
Shelly Anderson was great to work with in handling my marriage dissolution. I really felt like when I would hear from Shelly, she was being very proactive and I was confident that she was performing the necessary tasks to see things through to completion. As a client going through this (dissolution) for the first time, it was comforting to know that progress was being made and Shelly was great at communicating the status of things. She is a definite asset to Cathy’s team. Stu
I cannot recommend Cathy Cook's office enough! I refer everyone I know to their office for a swift resolution for their needs and wish I had known of them sooner. They are prompt, knowledgeable and professional. Most importantly, they are ethical which is sadly very rare in family law. Ethan was candid, patient and thorough, placing the best professionals on my case to provide the optimal outcome for everyone involved. There are just no words for how quickly he changed the course of our lives by his knowledgable guidance and referrals. Their paralegal, Shelly, always responded swiftly and throughly to all questions. She was relentless in following up with other professionals to keep things moving along and consistent in keeping me informed. Each person who handled our case managed it as if it were their own family and I cannot praise their help enough.
Cathy and her staff did a great job representing me. I was pleasantly surprised once we went before the magistrate. At first it didn't seem like she was on my side. But after it was all said and done, she was definitely working for me. Although I didn't get all I felt I should have gotten, it had nothing to do with how well she represented me. She did a great job preparing me for what to expect in the courtroom and I felt really good after our first face to face. She did an excellent job keeping me up to date on new findings. I would definitely recommend her for your attorney. She really knows her stuff. Thank you Cathy.
