Good Attorney, but prepare to pay more than whatever price she quotes you. If she quotes you $500, then I would expect to pay more in the $700 range. Each time Donna would call she would talk-up what seemed to be normal house selling details as if they were a Sisyphean efforts. The mistake I made was just listening. I wish I would have spoken up and said something to show that I knew what a normal home sale looks like and what work an attorney normally does for a home sale. I have sold homes and property before and this was a very typical home sale, but an extra $175 was charged for what was labeled as "an inordinate amount of work". In my opinion, the wording she used to describe the additional charges led me to believe she tacks on additional charges very often. My last two attorneys that I used for home sales/purchases charged a flat rate for home closings, so it seemed a bit deceptive to charge additional fees.
