If proximity is most important to you then this rental will be great. We also enjoyed the hot tub and that we were able to get in early. However, if you’re seeking comfort, we found this doable for the price but not great. The linens/mattresses/pillows are pretty cheap, and the living room furniture is not group friendly (two small love seats, and one is super small and uncomfortable). We were also charged $40 for damaged towels. The whole request felt a little shady. We were sent photos of a few hand towels and a wash cloth that appeared to be make up stained (we did not see this when cleaning up, but maybe it was us?). We were told there were also larger bath towels stained, but did not see pictures of those. Keep in mind the unit price for a wash cloth of the brand we were sent was 83 cents. It’s kind of ironic because during our stay we all laughed about how many towels this house is stocked with. I’m starting to think that this owner might have an underground towel operation that we were scammed into lol. Any way, if you’re wary of being nickel and dimed by a host and/or you want a house that has a comfortable gathering space, I would avoid. If you want to be a ten minute walk into town and are willing to bring makeup wipes, this is great!
