I started working with Mr. Montoya back in January of 2021. From the beginning I could tell he was very knowledgeable about family law. He explained the whole process and then followed up with the many options we had. Each court session I felt prepared and knew Mr. Montoya was ready to represent me to the fullest. I would recommend Mr. Montoya to anyone who needs help with their family law case.

This is a family lawyer that does not want to deal with family. My daughter was in need of a lawyer so I called to get some basic information and was told the only way to get it was to have a conciliation. I live out of state and had a few questions before I sent my daughter for the initial free consultation so there was no waste of hers or anyone's time but was denied and told if I talked to anyone that would be considered the initial conciliation. I don't think that as a father and the one that was going to pay for the services being able to ask a few questions before my daughter was asking too much but apparently it was. My advice avoid being disregarded and find a family lawyer that actually takes inconcideration the whole family.

The law firm of Hector Montoya is petty and condescending. I highly not recommend his services for Dissolution of Marriage. Mr Montoya is arrogant and will not complete the law in this matter. When you are needing a reliable counselor in law go somewhere else. The staff in his office is inept. I was not satisfied with his representation. The filing of documents was not done in a timely manner. This firm has costed me headaches and lost of money.

Mr. Montoya helped me with my custody case. I really appreciated how quick him or Anita were to respond to emails and calls. He really advocated for what was in my child’s best interest.Going through any court proceedings can be intimidating and I found him to be very proficient and comforting while navigating my case. Should the need for an attorney arise I would retain Hector Montoya again. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

A great law firm! Mr. Montoya and his staff were great to work with during a difficult divorce. I knew Montoya law firm had my best interest in mind and made sure my divorce was fair. I highly recommend this law firm!
