I retained Chris Nesmith a few years ago for a modification. I didn’t leave a review then, as I was very upset and overwhelmed. I did not feel prepared for court—we got into a disagreement the morning of court in the court meeting room. I told him that I did not feel prepared— he did not like that nor the fact that I was questioning him and his preparedness. He immediately became defensive, unregulated with his emotions, hot headed and yelling at me with an attitude. I also witnessed on many previous meetings with Chris, him demeaning and talking down to his paralegal wife. Specifically, when he asked for a child support spreadsheet and she printed it wrong. He got onto her and talked to her as if she was dumb. It was very uncomfortable to witness and that should have been a red flag to me. I am writing this review now, because I recently saw that Chris is running for superior court judge and I could not believe it. How can someone who cannot even regulate their own emotions, is demeaning (especially to women), be able to make logical and fair decisions in the justice system.

Chris and his team got me through my divorce it was a very difficult time in my life . One of the first things he said to me was "you need to be honest on all your papers that you do for the court system", man was he right, it worked. Him and his team helped me so much. They were all straight forward with me, very honest team. It took almost a year to get through this divorce and they were there for me every time I needed them. It was a great experience working with Chris and his team. I would use them again in a min. The best law team ever.

Chris was a phenomenal attorney he provided excellent service and was a beast in court. He told me to trust him and I did just that, and it was well worth it. I will never forget this man he is truly good at his job. He don’t back down and he will make a monster shut down. He changed my life for the good. He is very passionate about his job and for that I truly appreciate him. I have never had someone stand up for me like he did. If you are in Hartwell area I highly recommend Chris. He is worth every penny and more. Thanks Chris????????

DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THE HELL I SUFFERED... We hired Chris to handle a child custody case with our grandchildrenVery first appointment I had in his off ice he stood me up. I had traveled from central Florida about 11 hours. He never answered my,calls or returned them He was very unprofessional. He had us travel to Georgia 2 different times only to cancel the court appearance. We lost so much money, time, wear and tear on vehicles, kids misding school. He ended up up quitting on me the day before a court appearance while I was to Ga. He cussed at me and acted like a child. Do not count on him. If I could give him 0 stars ......i would.

Chris and his team are amazing. I went thru a divorce and did not look so good for me. But these guys helped phenomenal and it all worked out for me. Nice and friendly. Always helpful and they are there for you.
