Carol from Metz & Jones was amazing! This firm is queer-friendly and we reached out to them after Roe v. Wade fell in 2021 to make sure my wife and I had documentation alongside our marriage in case certain states wouldn’t honor a marriage between two women. Carol and her team helped us get our power of attorney, medical power of attorney, estate planning, a trust and will, and any other documentation we might need. They also helped us with a name change! In total, the process took about six weeks and a few thousand dollars (mostly for the name change due to court fees).
