Great law firm, they assisted me with a recent speeding infraction and got it dismissed. They kept me informed and thanks to their hard work my license and insurance won't be affected. Thanks again.

I was referred to Stephen Hayne for DUI defense by a really good friend who is managing director of one of the top three law firms in Seattle. He had told me that Steve was his "go-to guy" , and that of many colleagues and friends because of his decades of DUI experience and successful outcomes. As a Stanford Law graduate myself, I think it is funny that many people dont realize that the best lawyer's out there are specialists in a specific type of practice. Ex. I work in maritime law and compliance, but i still have lots of people asking me for a card to help them with their divorce, landlord/tenant dispute etc. If you have been charged with a DUI, you need to not just look for any lawyer, but instead, a true expert at this specific case law/practice. I have had more than five friends realize extremely successful outcomes from this firm. When you want a good lawyer, don't pick the firm that comes up first in the search rankings . Instead, ask the best lawyer you know who they would choose if they were looking for DUI defense. I guarantee, 4 out of 5 (or even 5/5), would name Diego and Steve at the Law Firm of Steven Hayne. Since hiring Mr. Hayne to defend me, i have been really impressed by his: -experience and knowledge level; -familiarity with judges and prosecutors involved; -his ongoing active interest in my case; -the ability to reach out to him via cell anytime with any questions i had about my case(s); - flat fee/all inclusive retainer.( For this caliber of lawyer, that is incredibly rare!) -his patience and consideration in explaining all my options and related outcomes; and, -After careful consideration my favorite thing about Mr. Hayne is: the emphasis he places on finding a solution that involves as few requirements as possible. * Having friends who have gone thru the Washington State DUI system, I can verify that Mr. Hayne is 100% right in focusing on minimizing program /lifestyle curbing requirements like ignition interlocks, hundreds of different types of meetings, and random UA's. Not only are these things a hassle, they open the door to the possibility of ending up with more fines and jail time for failing to meet these additional restrictions. This is something only a seasoned DUI lawyer would really understand. I have a really great gf who "violated" one of her surprise UA's by having consumed alcohol within 8 days of the surprise test. She ended up with tons of community service hours and a $2600 fine on top of the endless other costs/fines/tributes/legal fees she already had to pay. . . After I was charged with DUI, I really felt like my life was over. I contemplated losing my professional licenses and the benefits of over 12 years of advanced education. From the moment Mr. Hayne took over my representation, I knew things were going to be okay. I felt like a 1000 lb weight had been taken off my chest. I stopped stressing out at work and at home. Once you meet Mr. Hayne, you will understand immediately why he is the most recognized, awarded and esteemed DUI lawyer in the Greater Puget Sound. Wall to wall, his beautiful (albeit understated office,) reflects his position as the Seattle expert in Seattle DUI defense. I totally understand that being charged with a DUI sucks, However, I have known people he has successfully defended. The results/outcomes he has achieved have made me a believer in the idea, that getting charged with a DUI, doesn't have to ruin your life or make life unlivable.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to contact Mr. Haynes for help with an issue. Found him to be cheap and self serving. He treats people with an arrogant attitude and is very condescending.
