I was referred to Stephen Hayne for DUI defense by a really good friend who is managing director of one of the top three law firms in Seattle. Since hiring Mr. Hayne to defend me, i have been really impressed by his: -experience and knowledge level; -familiarity with judges and prosecutors involved; -his ongoing active interest in my case; -the ability to reach out to him via cell anytime with any questions i had about my case(s); - flat fee/all inclusive retainer.( For this caliber of lawyer, that is incredibly rare!) -his patience and consideration in explaining all my options and related outcomes; and, -After careful consideration my favorite thing about Mr. Hayne is: the emphasis he places on finding a solution that involves as few requirements as possible. * Having friends who have gone thru the Washington State DUI system, I can verify that Mr. Hayne is 100% right in focusing on minimizing program /lifestyle curbing requirements like ignition interlocks, hundreds of different types of meetings, and random UA's. Not only are these things a hassle, they open the door to the possibility of ending up with more fines and jail time for failing to meet these additional restrictions.
