It was quite a distance from my home and it would have been inconvenient and costly to appear in court. The fees are reasonable and I was told up front what it would cost me. Received a cell phone ticket in Bethlehem and true to their word, for $250, I received no points on my license. The fine was still levied, but this is New York and you have to pay to wake up in the morning here. They were a little late providing me with the results of the case and I had to seek them out to obtain a copy of the fine/paperwork. That said, anyone with half a brain would know to call the town court. But it would have been nice to hear back from them sooner. Overall, a positive experience and I am grateful for their service.
