While a negative experience, I learned my lesson. I was vulnerable and needed answers quick regarding bankrupcy and Mr Sominsky's office was the first office that came up with 5 stars. After initiating my first contact, I paid them all 2526.00 of their fees to start the process. His assistant sent me the paperwork and I filled it all out. His tone was condescending when I asked questions that were "obvious" to lawyers but not to someone like me. He missed 2 phone call appointments and was late for one. The 2nd phone conversation we had, he began sharing information regarding someone else's file. I asked him if he even took the time to review my case before he called me and he changed the subject VERY FAST. I decided I wasn't comfortable with him as my bankrupcy lawyer and requested a refund. He wanted to refund 400 because he had already completed paperwork. I argued that court costs were 526.00 and we never even made it to court so I was unsure why he didn't want to refund more. He also didn't spend time with me to clarify my concerns and often acted too busy for my case. After further discussion, he agreed to only refund 526.00 because he had already completed the paperwork. So if I can warn anyone, meet this guy first and see how it works. Don't pay everything in full like I did and ensure that all of your questions are answered in a professional manner. You will lose your money like I did with most of mine.
