Linda is a very knowledgeable family lawyer; an even better human being. Not only has she helped me with the divorce process, but she also helped me improve my life overall with her words of wisdom. I'm forever grateful. She is the best lawyer out there, hands down.

Linda seems to be a very knowledgeable attorney in regards to child custody and issues relating this matter. Linda is able to cut down to the exact problem you are facing, and move from their - to an actual solution. Linda will not (it seems) take on cases where you are either A) are not 100% thoroughly honest or B) if your case is too complex for her. While I most certainly would hire Linda at the beginning of a custody case — Linda seems to only want cases that have a definite WIN on her side, hence her high rating. Linda appears thats she only takes on cases that success probability is high. I’m sure Linda is an excellent attorney, but Linda is very picky on the cases she decided to take on - do note this.

Being served a restraining order and with very short notice prior to my court date I could not find a local attorney (here in Modesto). Since my court appearance was going to be in Fairfield, I was very fortunate to find The law office of Linda Garret. Her office (Glenn) responded with in 24hrs to my call. Unfortunately her schedule was booked and she was not taking any new clients/cases. However, she did call and said she could help me with a "coaching" session of what to expect so I could represent myself and make my court date. It was WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!! Everything on the court date went as she described. Her knowledge, understanding & guidance were beyond what I was expecting. Make sure you have pen and paper for notes. She covers a lot of information in 1 hour. Her knowledge and expertise is worth what I paid. She actually saved me about $1500 from what I would have had to pay if I would have hired an attorney to come. She is honest and will go over what she can and can't do. Be sure you don't leave out any info about your case, be honest so she can give you the best answers. If she can offer you a "coaching" - I would do it! I felt she actually listened, and cared. Infact, the day of my hearing - she called at the end of the day just to check on how things went. I told her that her service was excellent and I made it through with the best of results!
