I am so happy this office because the help me all the time in my immigration case Jacqueline and Mr Luis I am very grateful to both of you because you guys have worked so hard on the form I-360 submitted. Thank you both very much.????
If i can give 10 stars for this legal aid office i will. I want to mention the people who worked on my case ms. Brenda the first person who i spoke with over the phone to discuss my situation and the two brilliant lawyers who handled my case ms Margaret Pierce and ms Aimee Trinosky. They are very knowledgeable about family law, and very attentive to any questions you might have. I can feel their dedication to help vulnerable people to protect their rights but also to make it happen you have to work with them to get a possible positive outcome of your case. Ofcourse people who come to this office might have different experiences but i do believe that people/lawyers who works in this office or any legal aid offices has common goals which is to help people like me.
Amazing. Everyone very understanding. Without judgement fighting for what fair. Thanks again
I called Legal Aid to get help with tenant landlord issues. The individual I spoke to did not want to hear my side of the story. I was merely trying to tell her that the facts presented in the case are incorrect and that I do in fact have proof to back up what I was trying to tell her. She refused to help me and kept interrupting me while I was trying to tell her my side of the story. Then she finally asked my age. Because I'm not over the age of 60 they cannot help me even though I am disabled. I have come to the conclusion the State of Florida does not and will not help any individuals who are under the age of 60. Nor will they provide affordable housing to those under the age of 50. I was also rejected my rights to receive disability benefits in the state of Florida because the judge said I was too young to be disabled! Florida seems to be a very age discriminatory state and something needs to be done about this! I was also denied my right to reasonable accommodations from a Pinellas County Court Judge after I was already granted accommodations before. I'm deaf and hard of hearing with hearing aids and need a translator. I was told by this Judge to attain and pay for my own interpreter for my next hearing! What is wrong with you people!!!! And they wonder why I'm so bitter and get frustrated ???? I didn't ask to have Meniere's Disease!!!!
This is an amazing team of folks who truly care about helping people. Robin, Sara, Jeff and Melody were on our case within minutes of talking to them. It was a dire situation for my little family, up against one of the biggest corporations in the world. And before 6pm the SAME day, Gulf Coast Legal had it resolved. I am astounded and so very grateful to them all. They are THE BEST at what they do!!
