About Law Firm

Prior to founding the Law Office of Malosack Berjis, Ms. Berjis had the privilege of working as a law clerk, at the largest trial court in the United States, for over eight (8) years.  Such experience has provided Ms. Berjis with extensive and priceless knowledge in the field of civil litigation, which includes--but, is not limited to--the areas of personal injury, civil rights, and wrongful death.  Ms. Berjis, also, spent one summer as an extern for a Los Angeles County Superior Court (Civil) Judge, followed by two (2) summers externing as a law clerk, at the Office of the Los Angeles County Public Defender, and then, several months as an intern, for the Supervising Judge of the Los Angeles County Criminal Courts.  In fact, thanks to her work, within the court system, for so many years, Ms. Berjis brings unmatchable insight to each of her client’s cases, and, for that reason confidently knows exactly what it takes to get the job done, correctly and successfully.

Reviews

Malosack Berjis replied to my post on Avvo. I initially hired another firm, Lalezary, who after 2 weeks dropped my case suddenly. I contacted Malosack, who said she'd take my case and even called Lalezary on my behalf because she seemed genuinely outraged that they would do that to a client. She knew the details of the case up front and that it would require litigation, but she said she loved to litigate and liked a challenge. She had me compile everything and sign a retainer, I spent many hours ensuring she had everything relevant to the case and everything she requested. At first she replied to any contact quickly. Then suddenly she stopped replying to my emails and texts. Nearly a week went by so I contacted her as I was concerned she had fallen ill. In a single unempathetic response, she denied entering into an attorney-client relationship, and wouldn't respond further. Her sudden unprofessionalism was shocking and devastating, as I really trusted her. She knew how badly I was hurt by Lalezary, but in the end she did the same thing to me, the very same thing she had so harshly chastised Lalezary for doing. She really had me believing she was one of the few good attorneys, one who was truly about justice and genuinely wants to help people. Now I'm left with even more wasted time and effort, more hopelessness, and more disappointment at a time when I'm already hurting from an accident and piling up bills. She truly added insult to injury.
