Ms. Nicolson’s “new” office was completely unable to help me with a simple question regarding an estate document. Please make sure you personally spell check any documents you have completed by her office.

I should’ve posted this review 10 years ago when I first hired Melanie to help me in my initial custody agreement. I was referred to her by a very well known family law attorney in the area who couldn’t represent me due to a conflict of interest. She is a no bull, straight shooter. Exactly what I needed at one of the lowest times of my life. I was so pleased with her service that I didn’t consider using anyone else when i needed help again 2 years ago. My daughters father passed away recently so I can’t imagine how I may need her services in the future, but it was nice to feel like someone had my back.

Can you give less than 1 star? Wish I could. Incompetent is the best way to describe her. If you are assigned this GAL you need to immediately petition the court to have her removed. Facts do not matter to her. Do not put your family's future in Melanie Nicholson's hands, you will regret it....and be billed heavily for it.

Horrible attorney, horrible guardian. Should never be allowed around children. Biased and does not have the best interests of the kids in mind.

Worst lawyer ever she told me to plead guilty literally no fight in her! Need to give up her license to be honest.
