I had no prior contact with Monica so I reached out based on a web search of local Summit County attorneys and Monica was very responsive to my request for an interview. I was involved in a single car accident but I felt the citation given by a police witness was way too harsh of a charge given the icy and sloping road conditions. She spent the majority of her billable time discussing the occurrence with me and researching all the A/V evidence and testimony to make sure she fully understood the situation and the reason why I believed the heightened charge against me was motivated by more than just the facts behind the accident. Monica McElyea is on the side of the prosecution and the Courts! She is just another player in the corrupt summit county courthouse! I warn all who is assigned her as council to not allow the Court to fool you into believing she is their to help you. Pay for council from the Denver Metro area before you do business in Summit County with Monica!
