Law Office Of Paul W. Lewallen

I got in trouble twice in Stephens County. The first time, I was held in there and wrote to these clowns every day for a week. Out of all the 90 days I was in jail I never recieved a response from them. When it came to my court date they never showed up. The second time, I was on the outside and I was appointed them once again. I thought well maybe I can send them an E-mail and offer to pay for there services. I once again recieved no response and when it came to my court date they left me standing there with a lawyer working for that county and got screwed. So, if you know someone in jail and they have these pathetic clowns as their lawyer warn them and tell them to wait in jail another week Counties have no choice but to appoint another lawyer if they repeatedly do not show up.

In the ~90 days I was in jail he didn't even see me once. When I got to court he told me he hadn't even looked at the case. I accepted a guilty plea for a theft charge because he said I'd sit in jail for another 50 days because he hadn't looked at the case when any lawyer in the world could have gotten it to a unauthorized use because that's what it was. I didn't steal anything but I have a theft charge on my record. This man doesn't care about regular people and I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life. I just got a business degree that's basically worthless for another 2 years until this is off my record. What this man did and continues to do is wrong.

I have never in my life heard someone in a professional setting speak to a client the way I heard "Janet" speak to my employee this afternoon. She answered the phone "YES Laura" laughed in her face when asking to speak with someone else...."like I've told you a million times..." came out of her mouth at one point! They rescheduled her hearing for Mr. Lewallen and we really needed her here for the time they rescheduled so she asked to reschedule and was told "that's not how this works..if you're not there you will go to jail!" Poor attitude! Asked I speak with her attorney and was told he was too busy to talk to her and he was next to impossible to reach! I'm curious how much more Mr. Lewallen's law office would be making with someone that was actually knowledgeable in how working for someone works....what a disappointment that she was dealt them for court appointed I would've driven straight to your office if that was me...

Paul was very intuitive and seem to understand what I was going through. Would highly recommend.
