Reviews

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was referred to Raul by a mutual acquaintance to help with my wife’s immigration. I had already filed a petition with the USCIS and filled out the I-129F (K3 spouse visa) and he charged me $2,500 to type it up and mail it, but he assured me it was a quick process to get her here while awaiting her immigration status. He gave me a grossly inaccurate timeline (1-3 months) before I paid him. Once he got his money, he was often hard to, if not impossible to get ahold of, unless I went through our mutual acquaintance. He has continued to string me along for over 8 months now, often replying to my inquiries about my wife’s case by saying “any day now.” He took $2,500 to type a form and send it by mail on his word of an assured timeline, which never turned out to be accurate. I later found out via the state dept that the timeline for that visa processing was at 12.5 months. Raul operates on false promises and deceit. If you don’t avoid him from this review, just look at the countless reviews below mine to see the common denominator.

Absolute scammer. My family is still trying to fix the mess he made almost 20 years ago. He would only respond when my mom and I would tell him we were driving up to his office.

please do not hire this attorney, i came to the US when i was 10 and i was seeking asylum and my parents hired Raul and charge them 4,000. around 2013 he gave us the wrong court date, he call us the day of the court to ask us where were we, to which i was at school dad and stepmom at work. then he charged again 4,000 to re-open my case and he " promised" that he was going to help us fix our immigration status, to my Dad, stepmom, stepsister, and me. unfortunately he never gave called us. after couple of years when i turned 18 i tried to contact him and he actually gave me an appointment to reopen my case. he told me he would charged me 750 to re-open my case, because he understood that i was underage and that it was not my fault. the 750 kind of made sense since he had received already 8,000 from my parents. the only thing he did was sent out an email to USCIS to re-open my case, he never went to the immigration courts to file a motion to re-open. I'm glad i found another lawyer in 2020 and in less than a year he got me a working permit, I'm also waiting for approval of my I-130, which is a step to permanent residency. Please do not hire him.

Don't waste your time or money! We made the mistake of trusting him as our attorney for four years , only to find out that our immigration application was never submitted. (All attorney & application fees were paid for in full as he requested.) If he has done this to anyone else , make sure you get your money back. He doesn't respond via phone , but as soon as you begin a paper trail describing his negligence, he will respond. I'm not sure how he hasn't been disbarred.

Beware! This man is a fraud and has no immigration experience. We paid him 10,000 to adjust my husband before the immigration court and he never filed anything. He never returned phone calls. At the last hearing he told the judge there was lack of communication, not true, because my husband and I both speak English. He asked the judge to allow him to withdraw for lack of communication. Don't pay this thief. Don't waste your money he has no immigration experience. He takes advantage of the people.
