I had high expectations for this attorney, and he still exceeded that. I am so very grateful for what he was able to accomplish with my case. It appeared grim from the beginning, and I felt threatened with this case that came out of nowhere. I just can’t Thank Atty Paul Marriett enough. I Highly Recommend him!

I unfortunately was in need of help and Paul did an absolutely amazing job. He was very easy to talk to and made the situation far less stressful and made me feel like I wasn’t the only one this happened too.. I've had Paul represent me this last year as a result of a DUI, this being a 3rd offense and a stiff punishment. With the professionalism and extensive knowledge Paul has in law and criminal defense cases, I was able to retain my license after the one year suspension, which is unheard of in comparison to what I've heard others go through in the same situation. I get asked how I'm able to retain my license after just a year suspension and multiple offenses, and it's because of Paul that I can say this. Paul is not a good communicator for the most part. He would be selective on how he would respond to my emails. He was also rude to me on numerous occasions and I had to confront him about it. He is really not that well educated either. He went to a law school that is being shut down. Paul dropped me as a client because he is basically very nosy and wanted to know all my personal business. He has too many personal problems to be an effective attorney. At one point his wife was a fugitive from justice and fled Illinois to Florida. He ended up going to Florida to get her and even ended up representing her in court. Update 8/10/2023- Upon speaking with other attorneys about their refund policies,they said Paul isn't following the law regarding refunds. Paul presents an illegal retainer agreement stating his retainer his non refundable. According to the law, retainers are always refundable for unearned funds. Refrain from hiring Paul, if he lies about this, who knows what else he'll lie about?
