I trusted Thomas Chapin with my domestic violence child custody case. It was the worst mistake I have made since the case began. Thomas Chapin has undermind my requests to have supervised visits removed after the domestic violence charge was dismissed. The mediator recommended unsupervised visitations. Thomas Chapin worked with the opposing attorney and presented a stipulation that allowed extremely less time with my son than mediation recommended. I called and text Thomas Chapin on multiple occasions just to have attempts to communicate regarding my case ignored. Thomas did no work at all on my case for 6 months, then waited until the day before I was supposed to return to court for a review hearing and conspired with opposing attorney to push the court date back 90 days without consulting with me. I am reaching out to the bar association to explore my options and hopefully stop this attorney from hurting others needing legal help. I hope this review prevents others from making the mistake of hiring Thomas Chapin. This attorney was very unprofessional cussing and using vulgarity in front of my small children! That should have been my first clue, but I moved forward retaining him in spite of my initial concerns.
