I have used Sherman Law for 3 real estate transactions. They have been great to deal with at each of them. Very responsive, professional and do represent you well during the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone needing real estate law services.

When we began the mortgage process w/ DCU it was not the best first impression - lot of miscommunication, it was unorganized and our loan processor was not exactly proficient - then came Tim, about 30 seconds into our first phone call my wife looked at me and just said "yep, sold, he's the guy". From that point forward, everything was a breeze, Tim and his team over at Sherman Law were so easy to work with - they are extremely responsive and were happy to handle all (and there was A LOT) of our questions and issues most of the time getting back to us in minutes. We recently leveraged Sherman Law for our re-finance. Sherman Law, specifically Jessica Fennessy, could not have made our refinance any smoother/turnkey. When it came to collecting documents form our existing mortgage provider to filling out paperwork for the new mortgage, she was there every step of the way to educate on each step. Real estate paperwork is extremely cumbersome, it makes a big difference when you are working with a lawyer who has a clear understanding of the material. Page by page, Jessica explained in detail what everything meant and was able to answer every (and there were a lot) question we had. Even post close, some paperwork was received at the house that we were not expecting. Jessica jumped right on the phone with appropriate parties to ensure we were able to keep what was mailed. Above and beyond her duties. Not to mention- we did the refinance during the pandemic. The professionalism and safety was certainly top of mind, and never once were we worried for our health. Could not recommend Sherman Law and their underwriting partners any more.

Navigating a closing is difficult on its own, however as a single mom closing on a home as a result of the sale from a divorce and then a purchase of an affordable new construction brought another level of challenges I didn’t know how to handle.
