I am shocked at some of these reviews!! Mr. Melton and his staff have been nothing short of amazing! They have always been extremely nice every time I have called. They worked with me on a payment plan that I could afford and any time I thought my payment was going to be late, all I had to do was give them a call and keep them up to date. I think I have talked to just about everyone in that office, including Mr. Melton and they have always been professional, friendly and understanding! They truly have great hearts!! ????

After reading the reviews, I was extremely skeptical and nervous to contact this law office. I had received a summons and a letter, indicating that I owed a huge amount of money that I had NO idea that I owed. However, after contacting them, I realized that they are nothing like people say in the reviews. To anyone who is reading this, it's simple. If you owe a debt, pay it! They will even work with you on a payment plan if needed. Just keep your word and they will honor it. I worked directly with Chris, Mr. Melton's paralegal, who was super easy to work with, very understanding, and fair. I ended up paying a fraction of what the summons indicated my debt to be. I only had to pay exactly what I owed plus a small fee to cover the court cost, for the date I would have had to attend. They didn't charge me anything extra and were always pleasant and helpful. I'm very thankful to have worked with good people who made something that seemed so daunting and ominous become simple and painless.

My name is Nakresha Folson. I have to share my experience with VA Melton’s law firm! They are by far some of the nicest people I have ever encountered! Mr. Melton and his entire staff are some of the sweetest most helpful people! I would not recommend anyone else over them! If you need a lawyer he is the one to go to! He has helped me tremendously to get a debt paid off! His entire staff has always answered all of my calls and all of my questions! When I fell behind on payments they were always very understanding! They are so genuine and so caring and I really appreciate every single person that works in that office! VA Melton law firm is awesome!

This disrespectful as piece work is something else. My girlfriend a disabled veteran was trying to understand a letter she received from his office for something she thought had been paid for years ago. When she talked to this coward he didn’t want to answer any questions and just became very disrespectful. I bet he feels like a real man becoming hostile like that with a woman over the phone. If you want to have somebody represent you who thinks it’s ok to treat people in a hostile manner because they have questions then this empty soul is your guy. Save yourself the trouble and don’t roll the dice on a service that is so important for almost anyone who needs a lawyer. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!
