Dr Bryk quickly diagnosed my need for total hip replacement, and did a miraculous surgery that improved the problem quickly. Although hospital stays are never fun, staff at NY Presbyterian lower Manhattan were supportive and worked as en effective and knowledgeable team. Highly recommended if you need hip replacement.
I came in after having pretty significant pain for two weeks following a running injury. He spent about five minutes with me, barely asked questions and pressed on my leg before telling me to go to PT. Let’s not forget how he mocked my limping, asking if I was a 90 year old and do I need a cane. Ive since been to Hospital for Special Surgery, who confirmed through MRI, that I have a tibial fracture! Need an orthopedist, go to HSS instead- excellent experience!! The one star is for the receptionists who were friendly.
Doctor Bryk is the only doctor I trust. I have been seeing Dr. Bryk for over 10 years. Last year, after 3 surgeries on my left knee I went for a knee replacement. I’m only 44 years old. The results were excellent. I could hardly see my scar. The line is perfect straight on. But most of all, I can walk straight with no more problem. Dr.Bryk paper notes are always on time and he knows what form to fill out in case of insurances problem. This Doctor Is like a father to me, and he was there for me every moment after my knee replacement. For 10 years I didn’t let no doctor touch me knee only Dr. Bryk. And it should only be him. He is the Best orthopedist in my opinion.
Had a really poor experience with Dr Bryk. I was waiting about 30 min which isn't that bad. However, he basically didn't check my knee. He touched it for 1 second. He didn't do any mobility tests or similar. Maybe Dr Bryk has magic powers to know what's going on. I ended up seeing another doctor in the city who was really amazing. Don't waist your time and money seeing Dr Bryk.
An honest caring orthopedist. He is straightforward and gets right to the point, but will gladly answer any questions. Dr. Bryk does not push to operate. He suggests physical therapy and other options before resorting to surgery. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!
