I called this firm yesterday, November 2, 2021. The attorney who answered the phone was not only rude, but made me feel stupid for calling. I was inquiring about an issue, that was related to a claim, and some questions I wanted answered. He immediately dug in, and in a very irritated way said: We don't handle that!. I then asked if he knew of a firm that does, and just as annoyed said: No! I don't know of one. In response I said: Thanks for so being helpful ,and hung up. This may seem very trivial to post. However, it's the small things that end up making the difference. Especially when you find yourself in a position of hiring an attorney, no matter what the reason is. You definitely do not want to deal with someone who is unprofessional, and/or rude.

Laura is and was an excellent negotiator having done extensive research on the case, the local environment and similar cases. She used all the right experts while balancing a compassionate approach to our family. She was able to bring the case to a close above financial expectations as a settlement without a lengthy court fight. Throughout the whole process she was super responsive and available any time. I am so thankful for her help at such a tough personal moment.

If you are frustrated and lost and want someone on your behalf, use Miller and Zois. I tried to navigate settlements on my own and spend at least 40 hours logging things, calling people, researching, crying.... all of it and I just couldn't no more because the insurance company still did not want to give me any respect and it was taking a toll on my well being and time to go through this.
