Reviews

This review was telling me to share my experience with Dan Rosendale, so I’ll do that. Last year I got divorced from my wife who was a mean violent hoarder who physically assaulted me more than 20 times over a seven year period and made me live in a house that looked like a landfill, even though I was OCD and absolutely could not stand it. I gave him proof of all this including surveillance camera footage of my ex-wife physically assaulting me, a video of my ex-wife then talking to my children on a dash cam video explaining to them how messed up I was for going to the courthouse to get a protective order to get her to finally stop putting her hands on me, and finally a police report from when my mean violent ex-wife physically assaulted me again, AFTER I had already moved out of the house. Dan Rosendale apparently “forgot” to show all three of these pieces of evidence, and also only picked about 100 photos of what the house looked like out of the 1200 photos over a seven year period that I submitted to show what kind of disaster this woman was forcing me and my kids to live in. The problem is, he didn’t forget. I can tell by all of these great reviews, along with the four or five other people that I know that have actually used him as their lawyer, who loved him. This man literally did this on purpose and I’ll explain why. My divorce trial was supposed to be in February 2023, but it had gotten rescheduled to July back in January. Everyone involved in the case, including Dan, my ex-wife’s lawyer, my ex-wife, my children, and the best interest attorney that was assigned to the case all new that this court date had been rescheduled, the only person that didn’t know was me because Dan Rosendale‘s office did not do their job and share the information with their client. So when I found out from my children that my divorce court date that was supposed to be in two or three weeks had been rescheduled to seven months down the road, I got a little upset. I emailed his office to find out if this was true, and if it was true, how in the heck I was the only person that didn’t know about it. They could tell I was a little upset from my email and the way that I was writing to them, so Dan Rosendale called me on the phone to scold me to tell me how I better never talk to anybody in his office like that again or I’d be looking for another lawyer. At that point, it was his legal obligation to recuse himself as my lawyer because he was not going to be able to give me the defense that he was getting paid to. He literally decided to ruin my life at that point. Not only did he not show the evidence that he told me two days before that trial that he was going to present, but it goes even farther. Even though he did not present this evidence, the retired Queen Anne’s County circuit court judge Ross overseeing my case in Caroline County, had access to all of this evidence because I submitted it with my discovery documents. Everything that Dan was not willing to present was readily available for this judge to see. Not only that, but we did talk about the abuse, and we did talk about how she kept our house like a landfill and showed “some” of the photos so this judge knew exactly what I had been through even though we did not present the evidence that we were supposed to. Anyway, at the end of the day, I was not willing to pay Dan Rosendale the $12,500 that he was trying to charge me for two days of his time because he did not do his job. Because of this, I think Dan told Judge Ross from Queen Anne’s County that I hadn’t paid him and to ruin my life, so the judge suggested that I give my abuser $6200 per month out of my $10,000 per month income. I know that sounds insane right, an abused spouse, having to give more than 2/3 of his income to a mean violent hoarder who physically assaulted him more than 20 times over a seven year period? In MD, abused spouses are not supposed to pay alimony at all….. Be careful with this guy, I’m sure he knows how to be a good lawyer, but he also knows how to be a really crooked one.
Dan works very hard to keep up with his hectic workload and yet is always attentive to his client’s concerns. He takes valuable time to listen and advise appropriately. Very professional and highly recommended.
Matthew Crouch handled my cases… he was hands down if not the best next to the best attorney serving out of Queens Annes County. Very professional, consistent, and precise.
