I’m not the type of person who leaves reviews, but knowing the terrible and frustrating experience I had I feel forced to do so, this way other people don’t have to go through the same situation. I had an immigration matter, time sensitive, emotionally sensitive, I was honest and told him everything, he “committed” to my case being fast at replying emails and gathering information. I noticed some forms he requested were different and unusual but I trusted him. I did the process through MetLife. All of a sudden he stopped replying, weeks passed, months passed, the process took four months to file when I had all the papers ready by the first week. My documents were returned right after filing because of a very basic amateur mistake of him…and Thanks God that happened because now with this other lawyer I have and who is great, got shocked when saw the forms and said that my case would’ve most likely got rejected if it continued. He probably god paid with MetLife without doing anything and I’ve read this in other reviews, so there’s a pattern. Ok fine take the money but the lack of empathy and transparency to his customers is what really makes me write this one star review. Life moves through money but a career as a lawyer also moves through heart and being altruistic.

BEWARE WORST ATTORNEY EVER!!!!! If you’re interested in an attorney that “ghosts” you this is the guy! Four months into a very sensitive case involving a dementia elder parent and this attorney disappears. This is after disclosing personal information, many documents being completed I have been unable to reach this attorney by email, phone messages and texts. I will say this attorney has no empathy no compassion and clearly does not care about his clients. The lack of communication throughout this entire case has been completely unacceptable. AND if you want to work with an attorney has no regard for safeguarding confidential information and doesn’t accept encrypted emails he again is your guy!! This attorney has no integrity and I hope no one goes through what I’ve gone through. It’s already been a tough situation and now to have to start all over is just devastating. If you’re shopping for an attorney KEEP SHOPPING you DO NOT want Darryl Yorkey!!!!!

Out of 4 offices, only Darryl returned my call promptly. He is very friendly and very professional. He made me feel relaxed and confident that my problem will be solved.
